LHU held an online program on December 24 to exchange and connect human resources between students and Japanese businesses in Dong Nai province.
The exchange program attracted the participation of 10 Japanese businesses in Dong Nai
This is the second time LHU has hosted this exchange program. This year's program attracted the participation of 10 Japanese businesses and 80 students from LHU, Dong Nai University, Dong Nai High-Tech College and Economic - Technical Vocational School No. 2.
At the program, Mr. Pham Van Cuong – Deputy Head of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board stated “Through this event, we hope that businesses, universities, alumni, and students will actively participate in discussions to share experiences, standards, and orientations in training and recruitment. This collaboration will enable universities to develop practical training programs, allowing businesses to quickly access the human resources they need to stabilize production. At the same time, graduates can secure jobs, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector of LHU shared “The University's success is greatly attributed to the valuable support of businesses, including accepting students for internships, recruiting graduates, offering constructive feedback to help adjust training programs in line with societal needs. Additionally, they contribute to the University’s educational efforts by awarding scholarships to students and donating equipment and facilities”.
LHU regularly provides students with comprehensive training courses, including soft skills, interview techniques, CV writing, and an understanding of Japanese corporate culture. As a result, LHU students are confident in “searching for and choosing” the right job, rather than simply applying for one. Through this approach, the University also hopes to receive further input from businesses to ensure its training programs remain closely aligned with industry needs.
