LHU strengthens ties with AKANE and Japanese partners

As part of its strategic partnership with AKANE Human Resources Company, LHU warmly welcomed a delegation from AKANE and Japanese partners on July 10, 2025, to promote an internship and employment program for Engineering students at AEON Group - one of Japan’s leading retail corporations.

LHU was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Vice Rector; DSc. Tran Van Toan - Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics and staff from the Office of International Affairs. The visiting delegation included Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia - General Director of AKANE; Mr. Ochi - Head of Human Resources at AEON Group; Mr. Hideo Tadokoro - Director of Ohki Vietnam Co., Ltd.; and representatives from AEON Delight and Ohki Vietnam Co., Ltd.

LHU and AKANE have been partnering in foreign language training and high-quality human resource development in Japan since July 2024. This working session, therefore, aims to implement a one-year internship program in Japan for students majoring in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Control and Automation Engineering.

During the open, effective, and mutually respectful meeting, all sides shared insights into training capacity, labor market needs, internship requirements, and long-term development prospects. Notably, representatives from AEON Group and Ohki Japan highly appreciated LHU's thorough preparation and the quality of its students.

Beyond enhancing training quality, the University is steadily opening doors to global integration for its students - the future engineers of Vietnam - thereby contributing to the growing presence of Vietnamese human resources in the global labor market.
