[Press release] LHU hosts Student Festival 2025 and Opening Ceremony for the 2025–2026 academic year

Dong Nai, October 30, 2025 – In the jubilant atmosphere of welcoming the new academic year, LHU proudly announces the organization of the LHU Student Festival 2025 and the Opening Ceremony for the 2025–2026 academic year, held at Buu Long Tourist Area.

The event is expected to attract more than 3,000 students, lecturers, and staff. The Opening Ceremony will be honored by the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Truong Son – Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee, along with representatives from local departments, enterprises, high schools, and media agencies. As one of the largest annual events at LHU, it aims to create a space for exchange, connection, and to inspire learning and creativity among students.

The year 2025 marks a key milestone for LHU as it officially becomes a comprehensive strategic partner of Arizona State University (ASU, USA) – one of the world’s leading universities in innovation and a member of the Cintana Education Alliance, which includes 33 universities worldwide.

Starting from the 2025-2026 academic year, LHU students and lecturers will have access to U.S.-standard programs, educational technology, and an international learning ecosystem right in Vietnam. This collaboration reaffirms LHU’s commitment to enhancing training quality, promoting global integration, and aligning with international workforce demands.

LHU Student Festival 2025: A space for experience and engagement

With a strong focus on international integration, LHU is committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment where students are encouraged to train themselves, gain practical experience, and develop comprehensively. The LHU Student Festival 2025 embodies the cultural identity and youthful dynamism of LHU students.

The event will take place on the morning of October 30, 2025, at Buu Long Tourist Area, featuring a wide variety of exciting activities such as traditional folk games, the “Ring the Golden Bell” contest, food booths, innovation experience zones, and art performances by different faculties.

Opening Ceremony 2025-2026: A radiant start to a new academic year

At 6:30 p.m. the same day, the Opening Ceremony for the 2025–2026 Academic Year will take place at the main stage.

During the ceremony, LHU will review the 2024–2025 academic year, honor outstanding collectives and individuals, and award scholarships to new students of the 2025–2026 intake, with a total value of over VND 9.8 billion. Notably, 9 valedictorian scholarships and 22 talent scholarships (covering 100% of the first-semester tuition fee), along with various merit-based scholarships, will be presented. This annual activity demonstrates the University’s dedication to supporting, motivating, and nurturing young talents throughout their academic journey.

LHU Open Day 2025 Grand Music Festival

Following the opening ceremony, students will immerse themselves in the LHU Open Day 2025 Music Festival – a spectacular entertainment show featuring performances by famous young artists such as singer Phuong My Chi, rapper Double2T, VietNam Kun, MC Rall, DJ Zan, and DJ Tina.

There will also be performances by LHU student art teams, filled with creativity, energy, and youthful spirit. The night promises to be a vibrant music celebration, marking an inspiring start to the new academic year. 

The Student Festival and Opening Ceremony for the 2025–2026 academic year mark the beginning of a new academic chapter while reaffirming LHU’s commitment to fostering a dynamic, creative, and globally oriented student community. It also serves as an occasion for both faculty and students to share the spirit of innovation and embrace an education that connects knowledge, experience, and aspirations for sustainable development.
