    [FAIE: Economic Law] Meeting on the 2025 Economic Law Curriculum

    In March 2025, the Faculty of Management – International Economics (QT–KTQT), Lac Hong University, organized an important meeting to review and develop the curriculum of the Economic Law program for the 2025 intake. The meeting was attended by faculty leaders, heads of departments, and dedicated lecturers of the program.

    The Faculty was especially honored to welcome distinguished guests—legal experts currently working in Dong Nai—who contributed valuable feedback to further enhance the curriculum and better align it with real-world societal needs.

    Attendees included:

    • Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tân – Dean of the Faculty of Management – International Economics

    • Ms. Tạ Thị Thanh Hương, M.A. – Vice Dean

    • Ms. Vũ Thị Thanh Huyền, M.A. – Head of the Department of Financial and Banking Law

    • Ms. Huỳnh Thị Như Hiếu, M.A. – Head of the Department of Business and Commercial Law

    • Along with numerous lecturers of the Economic Law program

    The invited experts shared practical and valuable insights focused on improving training quality and equipping students with essential skills for future success.

    Mr. Phan Văn Châu – President of the Dong Nai Jurists Association – highly appreciated the relevance of the current curriculum. He emphasized the importance of the Legal Research Methodology course, noting that students should focus on developing analytical skills and the ability to solve practical legal issues. He also suggested strengthening collaboration with Industrial Zone Management Boards, customs authorities, business associations, and cooperatives to provide students with richer practical exposure.

    Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hồng Vân – President of the Dong Nai Notaries Association – highlighted the necessity of equipping students with skills to cope with challenges and unexpected situations in professional practice. Regarding the Legal Drafting Techniques course, she proposed increasing practical sessions to help students improve their professional legal writing skills.

    Ms. Trần Thị Thảo Nguyên – Specialist at Huỳnh Thị Thanh Chi Notary Office – suggested making Commercial Arbitration Law a compulsory course. She also emphasized the importance of providing students with more opportunities to engage in real case handling from the early years of study, including internship opportunities starting from the first and second years.

    The valuable contributions from the experts will serve as an important foundation for the Faculty of Management – International Economics to continue refining and enhancing the Economic Law curriculum, ensuring that the 2025 cohort is well-equipped with solid knowledge and practical competencies to pursue careers in economic law and access broad employment opportunities after graduation.
